Basically, there are three types of treatment plants for water – 1.water treatment plant (WTP), 2. effluent treatment plant (ETP), and 3. sewage treatment plant (STP). All of them have the sole purpose of treating wastewater.What is ETP plant process?
The effluent is collected in an existing combined effluent tank and pumped to an existing aeration tank that serves as an equalisation tank. The floating aerator is used to homogenise the effluent before it is pumped to the neutralisation tank.
